Chapter 1 Divorce

  • Crash!
  • The sound of shattering glass echoed from the bedroom.
  • Theron Larkspur propped himself up on the table with one hand, his face flushed, desire flickering in his eyes. He couldn't believe his eyes as he stared at the 'culprit' before him.
  • "Theron Larkspur, I've been married to you for three years, and you've never once touched me… I'll let you be with your unattainable love. I'm ending this marriage… after tonight, you can go to her! Consider this night compensation for all these years of emotions I've invested in you… okay?"
  • With that said, Sabrina Jollivet leaned down and pressed her lips to the man before her as though she was a moth drawn to fire. Her action was both frenzied and desperate.
  • She knew this was a despicable move, but she had loved him too much and for too long.
  • All the while, she had suffered greatly, and now, all she wanted was a little consolation.
  • "Sabrina, how dare you!" Theron clenched his jaw as his fury sprang to life. His handsome face was as black as thunder.
  • He wanted to push her away, but the wolf inside him was restless, screaming wildly for mating, almost overwhelming his reason.
  • He couldn't believe this witch was audacious enough to set him up with a love potion.
  • "I'm afraid of nothing..."
  • A lone drop of tear slipped out of the corner of Sabrina's eye. Her kisses grew rapid as her inexperienced hands fumbled around his body hastily.
  • All she wanted was to own him entirely for once.
  • A wave of fury crashed through Theron.
  • Alas, things weren't under his control.
  • Soon, the werewolf's most primal and frenzied instincts gradually took over, with the body's instinctive responses being aroused. As the temperature rose, the last trace of reason was completely swept away by the wind.
  • His large hand delved into the woman's neckline, rudely undoing the buttons of her innerwear, seizing a handful of plump and full breasts, rough fingertips tracing over sensitive nipples, quickly becoming engorged and hard.
  • Sabrina's gaze was hazy, her eyes closed, both resisting and welcoming as she arched her waist.
  • Theron's other hand reached down, pulling forcefully, and Sabrina's dress, along with her underwear, was pulled down to her knees, the already-soaked panties sticking to a lascivious thread.
  • Theron's heavy breathing became even more intense, seeing the scene. He guided his fully erect rod to the woman's wet entrance, effortlessly penetrating to the hilt.
  • The emptiness of her flesh was filled, and Sabrina felt a tremendous tearing sensation below.
  • She painfully raised her head, trying to push the man's chest with her hands to withdraw.
  • Theron, however, clasped her hands and gave a forceful thrust from the waist, tauntingly saying between breaths, "Why are you dodging away? Isn't this what you wanted? Why act innocent now?"
  • Sabrina bit her lip, silent. Theron retaliated by accelerating his movements beneath her, repeatedly plunging his large rod into unimaginable depths. The junction of their bodies, with sticky fluids, flowed down Sabrina's thighs.
  • The temperature in the bedroom continued to rise, echoing with moans that made faces flush and hearts race…
  • The next day, Sabrina woke up at dawn.
  • Tamping down on her discomfort, she got out of bed and put on her clothes. After that, she retrieved the wolf fang, symbolizing the Frostfang Pack Luna, from the drawer and placed it on the bedside table. Before leaving, she gazed at the man in the bed.
  • "Theron, I'll set you free. From today onward, we shall go our separate ways. We will have nothing to do with each other anymore," Sabrina murmured.
  • Then she averted her gaze and turned to leave.
  • Her heart was full of bitterness and anguish as she stepped out of the Larkspur Estate.
  • Sabrina had loved Theron for seven years, but they were people from two different worlds.
  • Theron was the Alpha of the Frostfang Pack, while she was a witch…
  • Her mother was a rumored witch with the ability to bring the dead back to life.
  • Seven years ago, she inherited her mother's healing magic and came to the town, hoping to integrate into human life. There, she met Theron, a tall and handsome werewolf Alpha.
  • Since then, she had completely fallen for him.
  • She couldn't forget him, and her greatest wish was to marry him!
  • However, Theron despised her… hated her for using deceitful magic to gain the position of Luna in his pack.
  • At that time, his grandfather Alistair Larkspur fell seriously ill, and only witches with healing abilities like her could save him.
  • The Larkspurs found her, paid a hefty sum, and requested her to concoct a potion for Alistair. However, she had one condition: Theron must marry her.
  • For the sake of the elder, the Larkspurs reluctantly agreed to the young witch's request.
  • Sabrina could still remember how delighted she was as she waited for the night of her wedding.
  • Yet, when Theron showed up, he bore a disgusted expression. "Sabrina, I'll have you know that if it weren't for my grandfather, I would never choose a witch as my mate! Your magic disgusts me! The Luna of the Frostfang Pack is Isabella Felbrigg! Only she is worthy of being my mate, not you!"
  • From that moment, Sabrina knew their statuses were different, and Theron loathed her magic and healing abilities.
  • So, she hid everything about being a witch, including the slightest hint of her powers, hoping to assimilate into the Frostfang Pack.
  • Yes, Theron wasn't obliged to love her. However, she still held on to the hope that the man would warm up to her one day.
  • In the following three years, she played the role of an ordinary human, refraining from using her magic, no longer brewing potions, and striving to be a good mate.
  • Every night, she'd prepare dinner so he could come home to freshly cooked meals.
  • No matter how late it was, she would only go to bed in peace after his return.
  • If he got drunk from the pack's business socializing, she would take care of him meticulously instead of leaving him in someone else's hands.
  • Whenever he got ill or hurt, she would be more worried than anyone else.
  • Every winter, she would switch on the heater and fill the bathtub with hot water for him. In the morning, she'd wake up earlier than usual to warm his clothes up so he wouldn't feel the cold.
  • Nevertheless, he never loved her, and he never would.
  • Two days ago was Sabrina's birthday, but Theron went to the hospital to keep Isabella company.
  • It was then that Sabrina finally understood that her one-sided feelings would never be reciprocated.
  • She would never make Theron fall for her, for his heart belonged to another woman.
  • Thus, Sabrina decided to give up.
  • Theron only roused by ten in the morning.
  • Upon getting out of bed, his first thought was to strangle Sabrina.
  • The distinguished Alpha of the Frostfang Pack and Larkspur Corp., known for his shrewdness within the pack and in the business world, had never been outwitted or disadvantaged.
  • Never in his wildest dreams did he expect to fall for the first time into the hands of the witch he had never taken seriously!
  • Furious, he scanned the room but didn't see the woman's figure. However, in the corner of his eye, he caught sight of an object on the bedside table that looked quite familiar.
  • Theron frowned, picked it up, and was astonished to find it was the token of their Frostfang Pack Luna passed down through generations—a wolf fang pendant.
  • Leaving behind the wolf fang that symbolizes Luna's identity. Is this an indication of divorce?
  • His gaze narrowed dangerously.
  • First, she fed me a love potion, then she forced me to have sex with her, and now she wants a divorce. Ha! How many tricks does she have up her sleeves?
  • Theron refused to believe that Sabrina wanted to divorce him for real.
  • Getting to his feet, he put on his clothes and strode downstairs furiously. "Did you see Sabrina?" he asked the butler, Winston.
  • Taken aback, Winston replied swiftly, "Luna left home with her luggage before dawn, Alpha."
  • Hearing that, Theron halted in his tracks in astonishment.
  • Six years later, at Gray School of Magic, Eldoria.
  • Sabrina had just stepped out of the Alchemy Room when her assistant, Linda Lisle, told her Evander wanted to see her in his office.
  • After staying up the entire night, Sabrina was feeling drowsy. However, upon hearing Linda's words, she snapped out of her daze as her mind cleared.
  • "Did he say anything? Don't tell me my little rascals destroyed the research results again?"
  • "Apparently," Linda answered, shooting Sabrina a sympathetic look.
  • This witch before her was always efficient in her work and exceptionally talented. At a young age, she became the most accomplished student of Evander Lowry, the pride of the magical world. She had gained quite a reputation in the magical community and had never received criticism in her professional endeavors.
  • Nevertheless, that didn't stop her from being the scapegoat for her naughty sons.
  • Linda comforted her, "You spent three days in the Alchemy Room, so Leo and Nox were worried about you. They spent their days bumbling around in Professor Lowry's office. I think he got a few new gray hairs from the trouble they caused."
  • Hearing that, Sabrina felt an incoming headache. She couldn't help but find the situation funny, too.
  • Six years ago, after leaving the Frostfang Pack, she went abroad!
  • Initially, she intended to study magic and healing arts at the academy but soon discovered she was pregnant.
  • Back then, she was caught in a dilemma on whether she should abort the babies. When she arrived at the hospital, she changed her mind, for she couldn't bear to part with her children.
  • In the end, she kept them.
  • Sabrina was pregnant with triplets—two boys and a girl.
  • During her delivery, her baby girl was born without any signs of life due to a lack of oxygen, and only the boys survived. She nicknamed her sons Leo and Nox.
  • The thought of her magically powerful sons gave Sabrina utter bliss.
  • However, she slumped her shoulders when she recalled she was about to get reprimanded, thanks to the sons.
