Chapter 60 Taking the palace by storm

  • Edla had lost it totally because of Azalea's defying act, and was bent on making her pay for the smallest of rude word that she had said to her. She was going to make sure to get one of her maids to call the guards, so that they would whisk Azalea out of the palace immediately after torturing her mercilessly.
  • The moment she had opened her oakwood door to storm out of the room angrily, a maid had approached her fearfully so quickly and passed to her a letter bowing deeply. Edla fumbling hands that was quaking with anger snatched the paper from her, and read the red letters embodded on the plain surface of the buttercup paper. It read; SOMETHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.
  • That alone pried Edla's curiosity, as she slowed down on her steps and tore the paper open, to read whatever was written in it. The black writings encrusted on the surface of the letter, were surprisingly neater and fluent than she had seen, that she wondered who would write to her a letter.
