Chapter 21 Elated feelings

• Azalea sat beside Ayden's bed where he laid still, watching intently every inch of him for any movement. She had been trying to hold her scared feelings to herself, as she encouraged in her mind that Ayden would wake up soon. Watching the night get darker and darker with not many soul still awake, she sniffled often and often trying hard not to let the tears making her eyes glassy pour down.
• "Master, stop lying there like a log of wood and just pick yourself up. I've been trying to hope strongly that you would wake up soon, but it is almost one day already and you are still not moving," she sniffled again and rocked his body gently.
• The thought of anything happening to Ayden mumbled her thoughts into anxiety. If he by any chance lost his life in the process, then she was in every way guilty to death; For killing a member of the royal family, for practicing a technique she knew not much about, for being failure and for interfering into matters that did not concern her in any way.
