• I watched the vampire. I couldn't deny the strong dislike I had for these creatures. It was true that I blamed them for Cara's rejection, and I had every damn right to. Me letting him stay didn't change anything; I did it for Cara's friend. His dark eyes caught my attention again. Could my theory about the stronger and weaker vampires be wrong? After all, he was only a new born, why was his eyes so dark?.
