Chapter 43

I tried to persuade the doctor if it is okay to move Davis today instead. I have been feeling restless in the pit of my stomach about the whole thing and who knows what can happen again if he spends another night here. My biggest concern is how did Armani find out and I kept on wondering if he had anything to do with this thing. Unfortunately, I can't find answers to my question and I can't even confront Armani not to talk of questioning him because it will only get me into trouble. The least I can do for Davis is get him out of here and that is exactly what I did.
The doctor gave him a pain relief that will help him till we get to wherever we are going.
I didn't bring my car along with me because it was Armani's driver that dropped me off in the morning, making it hard for me to get him out.
