• Isla’s POV:
• That night, I lay in bed, unable to sleep. I kept thinking about Matthew’s demeanor at dinner, so earnest and sincere. He played the role of husband well, treating me and my parents with genuine care. I figured I should step up “My game”, too.
• I opened his INS Moments to learn more about him. But there wasn't much there—only two or three posts a year. The most recent was our marriage certificate. The previous ones were landscape photos, each with just one picture, no captions.
