Chapter 33 Just a Damn Soldier

• Hugo Lewis and Mabel Lewis were most likely killed by Maxwell York. Of course Daphne Lewis wouldn’t say that to their faces. She said, “Maxwell already told us. Hugo and Mabel went abroad. If you don’t believe it, Uncle, you can call the cops.”
• “Call the cops?” Jose Lewis ground his teeth. What good would that do? Mr. Hughes had chewed him out till his ears rang.
• “Yeah, go ahead and call.” Daphne’s tone turned firm. Even if the police really dug into Maxwell York, Maxwell would have ways to handle it. That part didn’t worry her at all.
