- I dress for work with the clothes Lamonthe had brought from home for me. Then I kiss Bella goodbye, a lingering kiss that promises a night of more steamy encounters. Her lips taste like honey and sunshine, and I can’t help but smile. “See you later,” I say, the words barely a whisper.
- “I can’t wait,” she murmurs back, her eyes sparkling with mischief and something totally different I can't interpret.
