Chapter 13
- The loud ringing of the alarm clock beside her bed side woke Scarlet up. She looked around in fright, rubbing her eyes so hard. She looked out of the window . It was pitch dark outside. The trees trembled and the wind howled. The atmosphere felt eerie as birds chirped loudly, flapping their wings noisily.
- Scarlet slipped into her footwear and walked gently to the kitchen.
- “Lyssa didn't cook anything.” She said, closing the empty cupboard and reclining with her back on the kitchen table. She looked around, with her arms folded.
