Chapter 110
- AURORA’S POV
- Sophia and I pulled into the school parking lot, waiting for Liam to come out. I was feeling down the entire day and I had promised my son that I’d pick him up from school, I was about to bail on him when Sofia offered to drive us. The afternoon sun cast long shadows across the pavement as children ran toward their parents. The car’s engine hummed softly as we sat in comfortable silence, watching the school doors open and release a flood of students.
- “So, I overheard Matteo and Anthony talking the other day,” Sophia started casually, her hands resting on the steering wheel. “Something about Alfredo trying to get out of prison.”
