• The moon hung low over the Blackthorn Pack grounds, bathing everything in pale silver light. I sat near the edge of the training field, the scent of ash and blood still lingering from the rogue attack. My hands were steady now, though they hadn’t been earlier. Not after what happened with Aurora.
