• I kept quiet while he dragged me to the car because I was scared I would say something to offend him which would be the last thing I would do.
• I had already broken a serious rule and I might as well be punished like the way he punished Asher the other day or the way he killed the man in the boutique.
• The fear of not getting to say my final goodbye to my grandmother made me sad as I turned back to look at her but she was clueless about what was happening but was only smiling.
