Chapter 68 Regret

• Iyaki continued stirring his coffee, ignoring the presence of the man. Eric sat stiffly on the seat, practicing all forms of apologies in his head. The Elder moved to the couch opposite him and took a seat, sipping the hot liquid without uttering a word.
• Eric sucked in a breath, aware that the man would not say a word to him until he was ready to apologize. His amber orbs flickered to the Elder’s cold ones.
• “Don’t you think you are a little too old to be keeping grudges?” Eric mumbled, looking away. The Elder didn’t react to the remark even though he heard him clearly. “I am sorry for disrespecting you. I was angry and it got the best of me. Forgive me?”
