• Shocked faces stared back at him. His fists clenched at his side as his jaw tightened, digesting the slap.
• "E..Eric..?" She gasped in shock. He stared back at her emotionlessly. Valentine knew his temper was rising. He was going to cause a scene. She thought of what to do. So many things yet nothing in her head made sense.
• "I didn't mean...It wasn't for you..I'm sorry..." She stuttered but he kept staring at her.
