- "How bad?" Carlos asked, looking around at the aftermath.
- "Two dead and five wounded including you two," the female medic said. "I hope the boss makes that asshole suffer." She looked at Carlos' leg. "Just a graze, keep it dressed and you can still walk on it." She gave him a shot of painkillers to take the edge off.
- "Gracias," Carlos said, getting to his feet. The leg hurt but it was still usable.
