- While Jessie and Christian goofed around, only Christian noticed Keera coming up behind them. She stood back, watching a drunken Jessie throw dried grass at him.
- "Well, look at the lovely couple. Isn't this just grand? The Luna all drunk and acting a fool, not Luna like or even lady like. You sure have your work cut out for you.''
