Chapter 33

• Igor told me he would call me, but he hasn't called me yet. I've been here with him for a while now, and I can tell he's tired. The worst part is that I left without any money, and I don't know how I'm going to get back home. I don't want to have to call Igor and ask him to send the driver to pick me up, or for him to come and get me. I've already humiliated myself enough... so since I'm near the orphanage, I'll stay there with Thor... that way I can see the children and he can rest.
• I walked slowly with Thor down the street that led straight to the orphanage. It was only a few blocks away from where I was. There came a point when he got tired, so I picked him up and he stayed quiet, watching the hustle and bustle. And when children passed by, he wagged his tail. Of course, I was taking him to the right place. He would love to see the children, and they would love to see him too.
