• “Where is Janet?” Keith asked, gently cradling little Kyle in his arms as the child clung tightly to him. Surrounded by unfamiliar officers, his small, racing heart finally found comfort in Keith’s caring embrace.
• “We don’t know!” the chief said, his voice filled with uncertainty. “I tried to stop her, but she jumped out of the car so Sebastian could stop chasing us. What a selfless mother!”
