• It was almost nine when I came home. I yelled, "Mom? Dad? Anybody home?" I had been over at my friend Randy's house playing video games. I found it strange that no one was home. I went out back and found mom asleep on one of the chaise lounges. I jostled her and said, "Mom wake up." Mom opened her eyes and said, "Oh Cody, what time is it?"
• "Mom it's 9:00. How long have you been asleep?" Mom still looking a little weary eyed said, "I don't know. I was out here reading my book and I must have dozed off."
