- I woke up to the sun peeking through the curtains and flipped to the other side, expecting Andrew to be there, but when I went to check on him, he wasn't there.
- I moaned and crept out of bed. I stood up and immediately felt a pain in my lower stomach; I hunched over, attempting but failing to relieve the pain.
- "Damn, I need Advil." I exhaled a sigh.
