Chapter 38

• Rolf's POV
• “Let us go to her unit.” The doctor said leading the way and I trailed behind him with slow but steady steps. After I scared him off earlier, he doesn't argue with me over the fact that I was supposed to be taken care of and bedridden. We went to check up on Alyssa, she was covered with bruises and lacerations on her face, arms, and torso from impact with the car interior. I was glancing at her head which was bandaged heavily, some traction devices on her neck. She was still unconscious and I felt guilty looking at her in this state, I hope she heals faster.
• The doctor checked her pulse and he used an ophthalmoscope to check her eyelid, I stood by the door watching them do their thing. I am frustrated with the whole thing and the urge to see my mate, hoping she will be okay, crept into my heart though I knew she would be alright but a part of me was telling me otherwise. I was getting impatient and could have gone to her unit if I had known where they placed her. I let out a light growl and heads turned in my direction, I knew it might have come out so loud and I blamed Zephyr for it, soon they were done and the doctor led the way to Ivory's unit.
