• Ivory's POV
• I couldn't wrap my head around those words of his and it sounded like he had done something abominable. I could feel my heart pounding hard against my chest. I could feel my lips vibrating really hard and I felt my body getting so heavy. “What?” My tongues forced those words out. “Bet your life? On what exactly?” I want to get the point. It was all so crazy to my ears.
• Rolf sighed. “I bet my life on this event that you would come along with me and here you are.” His words sounded more like a twist. I couldn't understand anything he was saying. I glared at him and spoke up. “I don't quite understand you. What are you saying?” Those questions crawled into his ears and he shot a glare into my eyes.
