• "Oh, Mom, please, you don't have to create a scene about it. Just stay quiet." Noah snapped, and Mom visibly went crazy. Nope, she didn't act wild; she got silent, but everyone could tell she was enraged. "So, doctor, you said something about her health; will it affect her baby?" Dad asked.
• "No, no, her baby's condition is stable," Dr. Jones assured. Dad sighed and nodded. He turned to Noah and said, "Go with Doctor Jones and get the bills". "Sure, Dad," Noah agreed without any hesitation, and went with the doctor to his office. Meanwhile, the lady was wheeled out of the theater.
• In the ward assigned to her, she rested her back against the pillow as she stared. She spoke up, looking gratified, her sweet voice with the nomadic Italian accent reminding me of the Wright couple that were just eight blocks away from our home.
