Chapter 26 Jeri's Inner Conflict

• though Sophia's older brother, Henry, was a womanizer, he was not a lazy man like other men. He takes his professional photography job seriously.
• As a result, he was always too busy to bother Jeri. Jeri and Sophia would occasionally go to bed before he returned home.
• He chose to keep silent, though, because his sister had threatened to report him to Jeri's husband and their parents if he dared to harm Jeri. Unfortunately, he does not communicate with Jeri. Even though she greets him, he does not respond.
