Chapter 25 Jealousy

• Alex recounts:
• I was so happy, everything had gone perfectly, our little intimate marriage, our first wedding night, which, by the way, I had to restrain myself to a great extent so as not to scare Ava.
• Everything was going well, only to have that witch Cecil arrive in less than twenty-four hours to pretend to be a good friend and tell Ava that everything that had happened between us had been a fiasco, a lie.
