Chapter 16 Look After You

• "What did you say?! Repeat it, Liam! You did what?!!" Alessia is screaming now, between cursing and the terror-filled screams that split the night air. She was swollened; her eyes, which used to look brilliant, were now dimming blankly, even perfectly rounded. The spoon slammed out of her hand, and the falling crystal glass shattered, rattling under her feet. Her body was almost out of balance. Before she actually fell, Liam hugged her body tightly.
• "Oh no, you broke the crystal glass, sweetheart. Be careful; you'll hurt your leg." Liam said casually, swiftly lifting Alessia's body into his arms. Ally shocked helplessly. Her pretty face looks pale. Liam took her to the sofa, slowly lowered her body, and massaged Alessia's legs on his lap. "I'm sorry to make you so upset like this. I didn't mean to surprise you. I thought you'd be happy. Your goddamn boss, I totally finished. He’ll never bother you again."
• Liam invited Alessia to sail with his private yacht. From this afternoon, enjoying the beauty of the sea until the evening before, they circled the brilliant beauty of the Thames River in the middle of the glitter of the city of London. They set out from off the coast of Felixstowe, where Coltrane Industries' Private Port Strike company was based.
