Chapter 20 Happy Anniversary (2)

• The dinner was going well, and as usual Layla ate more than she should have and she was full to the brim. She let out a big burp as she took sips of her cranberry juice. Nieve ate her dinner more slowly and savored every bite.
• “Babe, be honest with me.” she started and that was enough to catch her attention, “how much did this place cost? Did you see the outside? You have to be a fucking millionaire.” she sat up in satisfaction.
• “It wasn't too expensive, just a couple of thousand dollars, I want to give you the best of course.” she smiled as she wiped her mouth with the napkin, she was finally done and they decided to stare at the view for a while before going home.
