Chapter 15 Fifteen

• I curled up on my bed, watching as the rain rolled down the window. I was numb, just staring. I had just witnessed my mates' death, the image of his headless body as it hits the floor and his dead eyes staring at me. A knock brought me out of my thoughts and sluggishly, I got up to open it.
• "Good evening Lady Celeste, the King has sent me to escort you to his chamber" A guard said.
• Why the hell would I need to be escorted to a room just a few feets away from mine? Nevertheless, I followed the guard in my pajamas as he led me to his room.
