Chapter 18 – Instant Regret

• The two women flew at each other, and for a moment I saw a flash of disaster. But instead of throwing hands they hug like they were long lost friends. I sigh in relief; my mother was not as wild as I had imagined her to be.
• The two elderly women excitedly greet each other and get caught on life. As it turns out, they had been friends since grad school. After getting their PHD, they went their separate ways and lost contact. I have come to find out the friend she had mention before was in fact Mrs. Anderson, whom my mother knew her maiden name only. Now, she goes by Serena Anderson, or Nana for short.
