• Good things never came my way, but bad luck seemed to always know where I was. On returning to the studio after breakfast, I suddenly felt a sharp cramp in my lower abdomen. I ducked into a restroom to check, and sure enough, I'd gotten my period. The real disaster wasn't that it came, but that it had already stained my pants.
• I drove home to change, and after thinking it over, I realized I wasn't feeling great anyway. Even if I went back to the studio, I wouldn't get much done. So, I decided to stay home and rest.
