Chapter 7 An Extension For Half A Year

  • The corners of Kirk’s lips twitched.
  • Once he had brought Natalie in front of the couch inside of the private room, he immediately withdrew his hands from her to avoid scrutiny.
  • Deprived of his support, Natalie collapsed onto the seat in a heap. Her sleek and supple thighs slid out from underneath her dress, exposing their striking fairness.
  • Kirk consciously lowered his head and quickly averted his gaze. “I’ll take my leave now, Mr. Hoffman.”
  • He then backed toward the door before shooting out of the exit.
  • Sebastian’s eyes combed across the face of the inebriated woman and doubted that she was aware of where she was. Over the in-numerous occasions they had met up over the past year, this was the first time that he had seen her in such a state of drunkenness.
  • “Why? Does the end of the contract deserve this level of celebration, eh?” The man reached out and brushed his fingers against Natalie’s cheeks rather roughly. “Are you wasted yet?”
  • Several copies of the man swirled in front of her dazed eyes until they melded into one stony face. The woman chuckled twice before she reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck.
  • Sebastian’s eyes narrowed as he grabbed Natalie by the jaw. He then took a swig of tobacco before he planted his lip over hers and forced the smoke into her oral orifice. The fumes burned her lungs and had her choking until her face turned reddish.
  • Natalie shook her head and looked at the man in front of her. “M-Mr. Hoffman?”
  • She then reached out to pat him on the cheeks in return. Her smile was alluring even as he smelled the stench of alcohol on her breath. “Didn’t we just s-said adios? W-Why are you here...”
  • Sebastian’s face darkened when he felt her hands suddenly upon his face. “Is it that time already?”
  • “Uh-huh.” Natalie nodded as she pressed a finger on his lips. Her tone was somber despite her tipsiness. “It was over when you sent your assistant to me. Over!”
  • The air was still, save for the odd incomprehensible mumbling from Natalie.
  • Sebastian felt the fire in his loins as he found her to be even more beguiling when she was less than sober.
  • As he listened to her, he thought about what Kirk had shared with him earlier.
  • He clasped his thick fingers around the inside of her thighs and slid them toward her hips, parting her chiffon dress en-route. Halfway up, they slowed down, and the soft fabric creased and gathered around the region where he rendered a firm squeeze.
  • “Mm!” Natalie furrowed her brows. The pain had marginally sharpened her otherwise dulled senses.
  • The man’s face edged closer to her own with every passing moment. She felt the potency of his testosterone invading her being which quickly had her swooning. In the next moment, she cupped his face and kissed him ravenously.
  • On the second time their lips merged, Sebastian fed the sobering tonic down Natalie’s throat. That helped her regain much control of her higher cognitive functions.
  • She played along with this man the way she had become accustomed to, but she was just not in the best form today. The thought of having Sebastian cozy up to her after he had put his paws around another woman’s back irked her to no end.
  • Natalie started to peel her groggy lids open.
  • When she came to, she found herself in the apartment that she used to visit often with Sebastian.
  • She turned to regard the man smoking by the window, who exuded magnetism even in his bathrobe. The glow of the cigarette alternately bloomed and faded between his slender digits.
  • She felt weak in the knees when she remembered how the man had pressed his body against her and asked to go for another round when he brought her in.
  • Propping herself up as she lay on her side, she smiled nonchalantly. “You’re in the mood indeed, Mr. Hoffman. As if one round at the bar wasn’t enough, you refused to give me a break when we got here. To think you had me believing that you had grown bored of me when you left late last night.”
  • She had no idea what had gotten into him. The affection that he had from before had made way for a new form of savagery.
  • Sebastian turned and stubbed out the fag in the ashtray. He leaned over when he approached and caught her jaw in a vice-like grip. “Does it make you feel jealous to see me with other women?”
  • “It does. But a man of your stature deserves to be surrounded by women,” Natalie cooed seductively as she let her delicate finger dance around his shoulder. “What’s more, I know my own place. But you really don’t know how to pamper me, Mr. Hoffman. You’re hurting me even when you’ve promised to be gentle.”
  • Should those words be uttered by any ordinary woman, they would have come across as spurious and undeserving of attention. Natalie’s ravishing looks, however, enabled her to put the right amount of tease in it.
  • One year in and Sebastian was still unable to dismantle this woman’s perfect guise. She was the only woman he had ever known who wanted money, knew her place and created no problems for him.
  • Applying a measured amount of strength, Sebastian drew the woman toward him. “An extension for half a year. How about it?”
  • It would be a bit of a shame to let this one go.
