- Aamon's voice woke Red from a short nap, and the girl opened her eyes. They had arrived on the cabin's porch, where Red was still in Aamon's arms. Awkwardly, Red sat up and then cleared her throat quietly. She looked up at Aamon with half-asleep eyes.
