• They arrived at the palace, back in the room where Red had woken up earlier. Fiona, Kit and Kyra staggered down. The three of them immediately lay down on the cold surface of the floor. Ursula's chest opened; Red crawled out, then fell to the floor.
• Red's shirt was splattered with blood, sending her friends into a panic. The girl was now completely unconscious.
• "Red! Red!" cried Kyra as she patted her cheek. "We have to get her to bed."
