- I didn't know what I felt for Sofia anymore. It was a mess. Hate and… something else. But mostly hate. She betrayed me. That's all that mattered. She had to pay. I didn't care about anything else.
- I dragged her down the hallway, her bare feet scraping against the rough stone floor. We reached the red room. I threw her inside, the heavy door slamming shut behind us. I didn't waste any time. I ripped her clothes off, my fingers bruising her delicate skin. I was rough, brutal, punishing her for her betrayal. I wanted her to hurt, to scream, to beg for mercy. But she just lay there, her eyes dull and lifeless. It infuriated me.
