Chapter 3
- Madge didn't say anything. She just felt his warm embrace. The sarcasm and pain in her heart intertwined endlessly. Why is he so good at acting? she thought bitterly.
- If Madge hadn't seen him fooling around with someone else with her own eyes, perhaps with Felix's elaborate explanation, she would really believe him.
- However, there were no ifs in this world. Felix. Once unfaithful, never forgiven, Madge thought.
- Perhaps Madge's strange behavior made him feel a little threatened. In the next few days, Felix specially put aside all work and stayed at home to accompany her.
- In order to make Madge happy, all kinds of luxury goods and fashion shows were sent to the villa.
- However, no matter how many gifts he gave her, Madge didn't show a smile. Until one day, Felix mysteriously blindfolded her and brought her to the tallest building in the city center.
- When Felix lowered his hands which blocked her vision, Madge saw that it was the candlelight dinner that he had meticulously prepared.
- In the past, Madge would have been surprised and touched to see the surprise he had prepared. But now, she just sat down in the seat he had pulled open and ate quietly, listening to him reminisce about their past.
- "Madge, do you still remember that I proposed to you here back then? I've been preparing for this wedding for half a year. It's a global live broadcast. Do you still remember what I did the moment you agreed to my proposal?" Felix asked.
- Madge paused as she cut the steak. She said softly, "You're crying."
- The corners of Felix's lips curled up slightly. "Yes, I cried."
- How much love would it take for a man to cry in front of the cameras of the world when he married the girl he loved?
- Hearing Felix mention the past, it would be a lie to say that he was not touched at all. Perhaps he really loved her in the past.
- However, things had changed. The person in front of her was no longer Felix who had said that he would only love her forever.
- Madge was immersed in her thoughts when a jewel necklace suddenly appeared in front of her eyes. The style was the same as the jewelry that appeared in the Slutol Auction not long ago and was finally bought for hundreds of millions.
- Madge raised her head and looked straight into his loving eyes.
- "This necklace is called Love Madge. The moment I saw it, I felt that it matched you very well. I also like its name. Love Madge, love you. It seems destined to be yours. It means that I will love you for the rest of my life," Felix said.
- Madge looked into his eyes in a daze, but Estela walked up at this moment. She greeted Madge with a smile before respectfully walking to Felix. "Mr. Cole, everything you want is ready."
- Felix nodded and raised his hand to snap his fingers.
- "Bang!" The moment Felix snapped his fingers, countless fireworks rose into the sky and bloomed, blooming into beautiful flowers in the night sky.
- Estela looked at Madge and said enviously, "Mrs. Cole, these fireworks will last for a day and night. Mr. Cole knows that you like fireworks, so he specially prepared a surprise for you."
- The fireworks were romantic and Madge loved them. But fireworks died easily, and so did love.
- A gust of wind blew the tissue paper in front of Madge to the ground. She bent down to pick it up subconsciously, but from the corner of her eye, she saw a pair of stockinged legs gently rubbing against Felix's suit pants through the billowing table curtain.
- There were only three people present. If that person was not her, it was obvious who was rubbing his leg.
- What made Madge breathe tight was that Felix didn't push the leg away. Instead, when Estela was about to retreat, he reached out suddenly and grabbed her ankle.
- His well-defined hands looked especially sexy against her black stockings. Felix caressed her ankle carefully, and his gentle touch made her tremble.
- In the end, those hands were no longer satisfied with this and wandered up her ankles.
- Seeing that he was about to reach the bottom of her skirt, Felix stood up. There was no abnormality in his expression.
- Felix still had that affectionate expression, but there was a hint of guilt. "Honey, I'm sorry. I have something on at the last minute. I'll make a call. Sit here for a while. I'll come and accompany you after I call."
- With that, Felix stood up and left. Not long after he left, Estela also left.
- Watching them leave one after another, Madge didn't listen to him and stayed where he was. Instead, she followed them.
- In the end, Madge stopped at the staircase on the rooftop. Not far away, Felix was hugging Estela and kissing her crazily.
