Chapter 23

• After shopping at the supermarket, Madge and Theodore returned home with their goods.
• In the end, Theodore carried that large bag of food back. All things considered, she had spent quite a lot on this trip, yet she was the one who had the easiest time of it.
• They arrived home at just the right time. Madge had just stuffed the purchased food into the refrigerator when the doorbell rang. Just as she was about to turn around to open the door, Theodore took a long stride and reached the door a step ahead of her.
