Chapter 7 The Ambiguity In The Maybach Late At Night

  • Without hesitation, Yixi quickly exited the car and sat in the passenger seat.
  • Futing Shen's hand rested on the steering wheel, and Yixi couldn't help but steal a few more glances.
  • His hands were truly beautiful, with distinct and slender joints. The back of his hand had faintly protruding veins, like a symbol of male strength.
  • There was a platinum ring on his ring finger, emitting a cold gleam!
  • "Are you married?" Yixi didn't know why she asked this question.
  • Perhaps sleeping with a married man made her feel even more guilty.
  • "This doesn't conflict with me taking you home," Futing Shen didn't directly answer Yixi's question.
  • Yixi fell silent and started fumbling with the seatbelt.
  • The car kept beeping, reminding her that the seatbelt was not fastened, which annoyed her.
  • It was her first time riding in a luxury car, and Yixi's hands just wouldn't cooperate to fasten the seatbelt.
  • Futing Shen glanced at Yixi, who was at a loss, and leaned over.
  • Yixi reacted strongly, crossing her arms.
  • She seemed like a wounded hedgehog, trembling with every slight movement.
  • Futing Shen fastened Yixi's seatbelt, and they were very close to each other.
  • Close enough to feel his warm breath and the pleasant scent of sandalwood cologne on him.
  • Yixi remained in the same position, unmoving.
  • Futing Shen's gaze was cold, "I'm not so desperate to do it with you under the surveillance cameras."
  • This man, clearly having a face of abstinence, could say things that constantly embarrassed and made people blush. He had no shame.
  • Yixi looked up through the car window and saw that the surveillance camera in the parking lot was perfectly aligned with them.
  • Yixi muttered softly, "Anywhere is better than the operating room in a hospital."
  • The sound of her words could only be heard by herself, without even opening her lips.
  • As soon as they left the parking lot, Futing Shen didn't follow the route Yixi had suggested.
  • Yixi knocked on the car window, sounding anxious, "Where are you taking me? This isn't the way home. If you don't stop the car... I'll jump off right now."
  • Yixi looked like she was about to jump off the car, causing Futing Shen to become slightly impatient.
  • This woman, why was she always so jumpy and easily startled.
  • He used the control key to unlock the locked car door and said lightly, "Go ahead, I won't stop you. Do you want me to drive faster so you can roll further when you jump?"
  • Fu Tingshen said this, and he did it.
  • Yi Xi watched helplessly as the speed on the dashboard soared to 120 miles per hour.
  • Yi Xi got scared. If she jumped, she would either die or be seriously injured!
  • "Don't threaten me with such childish methods. I've seen it all," Fu Tingshen said with a hint of mockery in his tone.
  • Yi Xi tightly grabbed the handle above, afraid of being thrown out.
  • The car stopped at a nearby gas station.
  • Yi Xi finally breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out they came to refuel.
  • Fu Tingshen got out of the car to buy water at the convenience store in the gas station, and Yi Xi followed.
  • Being in the same car with Fu Tingshen was too terrifying. She wanted to get out and get some fresh air.
  • She was planning to ask Fu Tingshen some questions later.
  • Lost in her thoughts, she wandered around the gas station without paying attention to where she was going.
  • Two little boys ran towards her, and Yi Xi was about to step aside but didn't react in time.
  • The boys spilled half a bucket of paint they were carrying all over Yi Xi.
  • The two boys realized they caused trouble and ran away without saying sorry.
  • Yi Xi was devastated. Did God have a grudge against her? She was just walking along, minding her own business, and now she was covered in paint.
  • The paint was green, as if they thought she hadn't been "greened" enough by Li Jinzhe.
  • He stood next to Fu Tingshen's car, not planning to get in.
  • Fu Tingshen squinted slightly, looking at Yi Xi covered in green paint.
  • "I'll just take a taxi back. Since the paint got on your seat, I don't have the money to clean it for you."
  • Yi Xi knew her financial situation well. With her current savings, she couldn't even afford a single tire for someone else's car.
  • Fu Tingshen had already opened the car door. "With your current appearance, how would a taxi driver let you in?"
  • Yi Xi was almost dragged into the car by Fu Tingshen, holding onto her wrist.
  • As night fell, a drizzle started outside, and layer after layer of mist formed on the car window.
  • The scent of the car perfume was already masked by the strong smell of paint on Yi Xi's body, which was somewhat suffocating and gave her a headache.
  • Yi Xi rolled down the car window. She still had some morals and didn't want to make the whole car smell because of her.
  • On Fu Tingshen's side, he had already rolled down the car window, resting his arm on the wet window.
  • Yi Xi had just opened her mouth halfway to ask about the check when Fu Tingshen's phone rang.
  • He spoke in a pure London accent, and Yi Xi couldn't understand what he was saying.
  • She listened as Fu Tingshen answered phone calls all the way until they arrived at her rented apartment, just as the call ended.
  • Everything seemed to have been planned perfectly.
  • Sitting in the car together, just the two of them, alone at night, and having done that kind of thing before.
  • The car ride was fine, but once they stopped, Yixi was afraid that Fu Tingshen would lose control and force himself on her in the car again.
  • "Mr. Fu, I'll go up first!" Yixi tightly held onto her bag, feeling that the atmosphere was not right.
  • "Miss Yixi, won't you invite me up for a cup of tea?" His voice was deep and seductive, as pleasing to the ear as the low notes of a cello.
