Chapter 12 Calm Down Before The Wedding

  • Who would willingly come here to find him if they weren't desperate?
  • Yi Xi clenched her teeth and said, "Give me three minutes, I'll finish speaking and leave immediately."
  • Fu Ting Shen showed a hint of impatience. Was this woman playing a game of cat and mouse with him?
  • She used to pretend to be innocent like a little white rabbit, but now she took the initiative to come to him. He had encountered too many women like her.
  • Fu Ting Shen glanced at his watch. "Ten seconds have already passed."
  • Yi Xi looked around and said, "There are too many people here, I can't speak. Can you ask them to leave first?"
  • Fu Ting Shen looked at her with a dark gaze. "You have quite a lot of demands."
  • He waved his hand, signaling the people around him to disperse.
  • Just as Yi Xi was about to speak, Fu Ting Shen interrupted, "There's half a minute left."
  • Yi Xi quickly spoke, "The check you gave me is genuine. I was deceived. I can't swallow this anger. Only you can prove that the check is not his. Do you understand what I'm saying?"
  • Yi Xi quickly explained the situation.
  • Fu Ting Shen's expression turned cold. "Are you finished?"
  • Yi Xi nodded. "That's about it. I can only say this much in half a minute. Can you give me more time?"
  • Fu Ting Shen lit a cigarette between his fingers, his smile slightly icy. "So, you want me to help you retrieve the check?"
  • Yi Xi let out a sigh of relief. As expected of a businessman, he understood her intentions.
  • She nodded sincerely.
  • "I'm not obligated to help you, and I'm not interested in helping you. Business requires a fair exchange. If I help you, what will you give me in return?"
  • Yi Xi's last hope was probably shattered.
  • The weather was gloomy, just like her mood. It was likely going to rain soon, and the air was filled with moisture.
  • She bit her lip and lowered her head. "I apologize for bothering you, Mr. Fu. Pretend I never came. It seems like I really don't have anything to offer you in exchange."
  • Yi Xi no longer fought for herself. Negotiating with a demon, she would undoubtedly be devoured completely.
  • Fu Ting Shen stood there, watching Yi Xi's figure.
  • In a cold tone, he spoke, "Come to the Presidential Suite at the Marriott Hotel tonight."
  • Yi Xi's footsteps paused. She wondered why Fu Ting Shen was so desperate?
  • Without looking back, she raised her hand and waved. "Goodbye, no need to see me off."
  • Fu Ting Shen couldn't figure out this woman, or rather, this girl. What exactly was she up to?
  • He made this request to a woman for the first time, only to be decisively rejected.
  • This girl added a touch of excitement to his monotonous life, but she didn't hold much value beyond that.
  • He returned to the office and asked his secretary to gather as much information as possible about Yi Xi.
  • "Who is Yi Xi?" Han Tongya emerged from the inner office, having heard everything that Fu Ting Shen had just said.
  • It had been several months since they last met, but Han Tongya remained cold towards Fu Ting Shen. "Who let you in?"
  • Han Tongya shrugged her shoulders. "If I hadn't come, I wouldn't have known that my fiancé asked his secretary to investigate another woman."
  • Fu Ting Shen raised an eyebrow, looking slightly displeased at Han Tongya. "I thought we made it clear not to interfere with each other. Han Tongya, don't overstep your boundaries."
  • Han Tongya's lips curled into a playful smile as she walked up to Fu Ting Shen, gently fixing his shirt collar. "Fu Ting Shen, don't forget how much your mother adores me. Besides me, no one else can marry you. The wedding is approaching, so pull yourself together. If you can't handle the women outside, I'll help you deal with them."
