Chapter 53

• With a grin frozen onto his face, J'onn shook his head in amazement, putting the phone back down on the desk.
• He did a few things on the laptop before shutting it down. He rose out of the chair, picked up his laptop, and left it in the travel bag for tomorrow.
• J'onn was almost crawling onto the bed when the phone rang. He retrieved it from his pocket and released a sigh the moment he got it face to face with the caller ID. He watched as the phone rang for three seconds before he picked up and held the phone at his ear.
