Chapter 16

• J'onn didn't know where he was headed as he stepped into the elevator, but he did know he had to be leaving his room. Because it felt odd to be heading into any destination without his guards, he let them do most of the work on this solo trip. But he instructed them to simply stay at home and tend to some things for him.
• Venturing out of the building, J'onn's gaze saw the restaurant/bar that was next to the hotel building. According to what he understood, the restaurant and the hotel where he was residing belonged to a single person, and only the wealthiest could possibly be able to afford to be there. Seeing the bar was not going to be a terrible place to sit and get cooler, and maybe even find a girl to have some fun with, J'onn found himself walking towards the bar.
• You had to walk through the restaurant to get to the bar. J'onn was walking in that direction when he suddenly stopped at the sight of HER. No, she wasn't with anyone and this time she was with someone else, not the same individual he shared a moment with her in the cafe.
