• Alaric’s eyes flashed with something primal, his lips crashing onto mine in a kiss that was fierce and hungry. His hands slid down to my waist, pulling me closer as his mouth moved against mine with a desperation that left me breathless. The taste of him was intoxicating, a mix of whiskey and something uniquely Alaric that made my head spin.
