Chapter 27 Nightmares

• MELISSA'S POV
• I was running faster than I ever thought my legs could move as trees whipped by. It was cold and dark and I had no idea where I was or where I was running to. All I knew that I was running from Jimmy. I had to get away before he caught me. I would never let him have me again. Never. Again.
• He popped out from around a tree and grabbed me before he threw me to the ground, my face burned from the impact with the Sandy ground. I let out a blood curdling scream as his strong hands held me down, suffocating me.
