Chapter 29 Impulsive Actions And Unspoken Affections

  • “I’m tired,” Sabrina's voice was barely audible as she murmured, her face still hidden in the comforting embrace of Seb's chest. Sensing her exhaustion, Seb swiftly guided her towards the couch, gently urging her to take a seat. Understanding her need for respite, Seb hurriedly fetched a glass of water and handed it to Sabrina. With a deep breath, Sabrina gratefully accepted the glass, savoring the cool liquid that quenched her parched throat.
  • Noticing Sabrina's trembling hands, Seb gently assisted her in drinking the water, ensuring that she could consume it without any difficulty. Sabrina's dizziness was a result of her prolonged unconsciousness, leaving her weakened. Despite this knowledge, she had instinctively sought refuge in Seb's presence, neglecting her own condition.
  • "You need to lie down and rest," Seb urged with concern, guiding Sabrina to recline comfortably on the couch. Taking immediate action, he reached for the intercom and instructed one of the household servants to summon the nurse to his study. Sabrina observed these events through her hazy vision, her eyesight blurred and her head throbbing with intense pain.
