Chapter 29

• *Flashback*
• They were all seated around the campfire, bottles of beer in their hands and plastic red cups scattered all over the floor. They were obviously pretty high from having quite a number of drinks but they didn’t mind since they felt safe in each other’s arms. The bond of trust that united them had grown over the years, and they weren’t afraid of doing even the silliest of things in each other’s presence. They were like a brotherhood now. They were happy. They were friends.
• “… okay, my turn” Jack indicated and rubbed his hands together. He always carried that mysterious bad boy, gothic look wherever he went, with dark hair covering his left eye and some eyeliner surrounding the right. He had a piercing on his nose, and several more on both ears. His friends always wondered how he coped with so much piercings. Didn’t they hurt him? Wasn’t he feeling any pain?
