• The blazing sun scorched with a menacing vengeance that day, and the cool breeze which had been a constant relief the previous weeks had turned into a hateful enemy. Amelia could practically feel herself melting with each step she took, and it didn’t take long before she felt like almost passing out. Coupled with the exhaustion she had gotten from lectures which had ended a few minutes ago, she almost felt like a walking candle that would burn out at any minute. She was just happy that school for the day was finally over, and that the next day was a weekend. She’d get all the rest she needed. But first, she needed to solve her immediate problem…
