Chapter 11 Rita Is Left Out

• After finishing their meal, Bianca led Reilly to the sofa in the living room to chat. Ted sat beside them, beaming and silently noting Reilly's preferences. Strangely, Rita sat on a single-seater sofa and watched them coldly despite her dislike for idle small talk. While chatting with Bianca, Reilly glanced in Rita's direction. When she noticed Rita playing with her phone, unwilling to leave, Reilly immediately understood Rita's intentions!
• It was actually quite simple. The incident with Mrs. Dorothy tonight infuriated Bianca, who had treated Rita coldly all night. Rita sensed this and feared Reilly would complain to Ted if she left! Only Ted treated Rita with love and care at home. Even though she almost harmed him, he didn't lose his temper with her. She couldn't bear to lose Ted's love again!
• Upon seeing that Bianca was getting parched from talking, Reilly picked up the teapot from the coffee table, poured a cup of warm black tea, and handed it to Bianca, who smiled gratefully and accepted it. Bianca had finally found her biological daughter and had much to say to her. She also wanted to know about her daughter's interests and shower her with love. It's alright. There's plenty of time. We can slowly get to know each other as mother and daughter.
