• ALYSSA'S POV
• The moon tonight was quite luminous and it seemed to glow brighter with each passing moment. She hadn't even realized when the day had gone by and dusk settled. The new moon was finally here and Alyssa didn't know how to feel,
• Her father was usually the one who orchestrated the event and there was always a special rite for her mother, the previous Luna, Alyssa hadn't admitted it to anyone but that was the worst part in the ceremony. The haunting reminder that the woman everyone loved was ripped away from them because of her birth wasn't something she liked reliving.
