Chapter 10
- Amira
- I quickly make my way through the city while glancing at the tracker to make sure that he hasn’t made his way back to the house, I love when I get to take the bike out, it takes less time to get through all the thick and crazy traffic and it’s an invigorating feeling having a bike like this between my legs. Once I’m out of the city it’s only another twenty minutes to get to the part of the wall that I picked to scale, there’s a place that I can cover my bike so that it won’t be seen from anyone that comes from the main road.
- The next twenty minutes went by quickly as I focused my mind and calmed my body, I turn off the lights for my bike and slow down so the tracks aren’t as deep on the dirt part of the road. I stop at the top of the small ditch in front of the wall and turn off my bike and walk it down into the ditch and gently lay it down and cover it with the broken shrubbery on the ground along with my helmet. I reach into my small backpack and pull my face covering and goggles out and put them both on and turn towards the wall, it’s around eight feet tall with a small lip on at the top so I take a small breath and back up slightly then sprint towards it and run up the wall and spring up for the lip and grab it with one hand.
