• As we drive to the hotel we rented, I lean into the car seat and sigh. It has been a very busy day today. It's Saturday and my second day here in LA and we have finished with most of the meetings and presentations. Tomorrow we are going to do some field work and touring. I am so exhausted after today's activities. I just want to get in my hotel room, have a shower and talk to my girl. I miss her so much, and her email from yesterday told me that she misses me to.
• I wonder how she is now. She is probably with her friends on the ship doing one of the activities available on the cruise. She promised to send me photos and show me how much fun she is having. I am expectant to see them.
