Chapter 24

• The first thing I do when I wake up is call the hospital and inquire about Grandmother. I am told that she has woken up feeling better. The last time she had such an episode was like two years ago and I thought she was really healing but Ithink not. The report the doctor gave me yesterday said otherwise. I hope she doesn't get worse. Good thing is that she has woken up feeling better and she is going to be discharged.
• I would have driven to the hospital to pick her up, but she has already been dismissed. I have asked Hector to go pick her up and bring her over so that she can have breakfast here before she goes. I have promised Aria a nice and interesting weekend and I want to fulfill my promise. I am thinking about taking her to an interesting place later today. I hope she doesn't have to go home today because I want to spend the entire day with me here.
